EFPSA Events – COVID-19 Concerns
Over the past months, the EFPSA Board of Management have been considering the concerns related to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
As a result of the worldwide concerns EFPSA’s policy will be to currently follow the guidelines of the World Health Organisation (WHO) & European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) alongside the (travel) recommendations given by the hosting country of an EFPSA Event.
The Irish authorities set up preventative measures that is affecting the EFPSA Congress. After taking notice of these measures, a decision needed to be made about the continuation of the EFPSA Congress in Ireland. As a result, we regret to inform you that the 34th EFPSA Congress will be postponed until further notice.
EFPSA will be further monitoring the situation in the coming weeks. In case there will be a substantial change that may affect upcoming EFPSA Events, such as instructions or official restrictions by official authorities, we will immediately inform anyone affected.
Representing EFPSA at external events
Should you be representing EFPSA at an external event or meeting, please contact the host organisation or your BM Responsible. We advise each individual to follow national advice in your country. This may mean different implications for individuals depending on countries and regions they come from, and that meetings in different locations are treated differently depending on circumstances.
