We are excited to announce the opening of the Call for participants for the second EFPSA Trainers’ Meeting (TRAM) of 2016. The TRAM will happen between 27th and 31st July 2016 and will take place in a family house in the Czech Republic, located in a beautiful village near Prague called Líbeznice.
What is TRAM
EFPSA TRAM is a 3 to 4-day low budget event aimed at trainers’ education, organised by EFPSA Trainers. The goal of TRAM is for NGO/Youth Trainers to unite, share knowledge and experience and develop their skills. The event is centered around a main topic which is related to training which is delivered by an expert Trainer. Participants are Trainers from different organisations and they deliver trainings to each other on topics related to the main theme of the event.
The topic is “The Innovation Expedition”. During the three days we will explore new training methods and approaches that may enrich your training repertoire. We will sink deep into the topic with Trainers who have specific experience in the field. You can look forward to getting some insight about gamification in training. Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to contribute and deliver sessions that are in a way related to the topic, meaning they will have the opportunity to deliver with other Youth Yrainers and receive valuable feedback from their peers. Together we will exchange our knowledge and gain new skills.
Where will it be?
Líbeznice is a nice village in the countryside where you can experience a peaceful atmosphere where you can find many opportunities to enjoy yourself. There is a beautiful church, library, football field, skate park and even a theatre. You can reach Líbeznice from Prague in 20 minutes by bus. The Open Training Day will be held in Prague.
TRAM is traditionally a low-cost event. Participation fee has been established to be €25 per person. This includes the home-stay accommodation, all food, materials and training rooms. Transportation from Prague to the venue is not included in the price, but if you have any questions about how to get to the venue, we are more than happy to help.
Who should apply?
We would love to welcome any NGO/Youth Trainers who have an interest in the topic and are motivated to learn, share their knowledge and experience and gain inspiration from other Trainers. In total 15 trainers will be participating in TRAM, which means that apart from the expert trainers and organisers, there is room for 10 more trainers to apply as regular participants! If you are interested in developing yourself as a Trainer and you would like to get to know other NGO/ Youth Trainers, don’t hesitate to apply here until the 15th of June, 23:59 CET
