For those interested in a career in psychological research, this is a unique opportunity to develop specialised academic leadership skills via the Research Officer (RO) position of the EFPSA Young Researcher Programme (YRP). Official commencement of the position begins 1 January 2013, and will last through the YRP internships of August 2014.
The RO plays a fundamental role in the YRP and related European Summer School (ESS). The first duty of the RO will be coordination of a six-week recruitment period for the ESS 2013 Research Supervisors – this process should begin in January. Subsequent roles include assistance with inviting ESS lecturers, reviewing ESS student applications, and contribution to research training at the ESS. Perhaps most critically, the RO coordinates dissemination plans for all YRP teams related to publication in JEPS as well as chairing YRP presentation segments at the EFPSA Congress and YRP Conference.
For a complete description of the role of the RO and an application form, please refer to webpages of the YRP. Please note, that the applicants for this position must be former participants of the European Summer School. The deadline for applications is 12.00 (CET) Friday 12th October.
