Within the last month in EFPSA there has been a lot of progress and activities although holidays were there. The second round of EB/MR reports are currently ongoing and all the teams are reporting and negotiating on which actions and tasks they will concentrate until the end of the their mandate in December. The process of Strategic Planning is one of the priorities of this mandate and the current progress regarding the document has been reached. Each team had the opportunity to present their objectives and state which of those are the most important for the team and which of those can be implemented in the near future. This information gives the BM good insight and feedback in which direction the final document should be developed.
One of the most salient activities that is happening under EPFSA’s roof is the registration for the highlight in the calendar year – the 26th Congress of European Psychology Students in Denmark. All the applicants who passed the selection process will have the great opportunity to be part of the European psychology community for a week and get fresh information about current achievements in the scientific corner under the topic "Mind the Body". Registration is open until the 22nd of January so if you are still wondering, make a final positive decision and change your life!
Furthermore, EFPSA has started its collaboration with the new European student organisation – the European Student Think Tank. It is a community of students who are contributing to a more elaborate insight into the European Union. The EST Network will become a vital part of the Think Tank as we are moving to more advanced projects of creating policy ideas. In each step of the Think Tank’s progress, interdisciplinary cooperation between students will be necessary. Don’t forget to check their website: http://studentthinktank.eu/
Finally, from the grants’ corner, EFPSA’s Task Force “Grants” is preparing for a 3rd opportunity this mandate – European Charlemagne Youth Prize Competition. This enthusiastic and motivated group of people will work on EFPSA application and try to aim for the best!
