This special topic is dedicated to the relationship between the mind and the body. Arguably this is one of the oldest philosophical debates, but it is one that remains current and evocative in both psychology and society today. The current scientific understanding of the mind-body relationship has been enriched through research into body image, eating disorders, gender identity, sexuality, trauma, sports psychology, and mindfulness, as well as more phenomenological discussions on the relationship between body and mind. In all of these areas the relationship between mind and body has proven a highly insightful and fruitful area of research. As every year it is possible for participants to be part of the scientific program by holding a workshop, a paper- or poster presentation related to the topic. The week will consist of interesting lectures, workshops and presentations on the congress theme during the day, social activities and parties with your fellow European psychology students at night and an excursion to the wonderful Copenhagen. Moreover, participants of the congress will have opportunity to meet and learn more about EFPSA.
The registration period for participants will be from the 1st of December – 22nd of January.
