A History of Insight into Brain and Mind: Festschrift for Prof Nick Wade

The University of Dundee, Scotland, is pleased to invite you and all those with an interest in Vision, Cognition, Brain and Mind to this exciting event. It will be a day of talks in celebration of Professor Nick Wade’s contribution to Psychology throughout his prestigious career. Professor Wade has spanned the divides between Psychology, Art and the History of Science.
The day of talks at Dundee will bring together leading scholars in these fields from around the world to discuss these interfaces. This unique setting will offer an opportunity for open discussions across traditional research disciplines.
The event will be free of charge, with lunch and refreshments supplied by the courtesy of the organisers and the University of Dundee’s School of Psychology. The Festschrift taking place shortly after "Burns’ night" (a traditional Scottish event celebrating Scottish poet, Robert Burns), there will be a plentiful supply of beverages, water, oatcakes, bannocks and shortbread in the seminar room throughout the day.Professor Nick Wade is an excellent speaker and all of us who were in the European Summer School 2008 had a wonderful time with him.
