Study Abroad
“Explore all the opportunities. Do not “scatter the time”… Involve all the force. And return with a great experience and with a lot of knowledge” -
Mihai from Romania
Are you tempted with the idea of studying abroad, but don’t know where to begin?
Once you’ve decided that you want to study abroad, you’ll need to do some research to decide where you want to study. You should choose your country and the programme carefully, according to set criteria that fulfil both your academic and personal needs. Although, having all that official information does not answer all the questions you may have about studying abroad. You want to know what student life is like in the place you’ll be spending what could be the next several years.
Here comes the EFPSA Study Abroad Service!
Aiming to enhance psychology students’ mobility, the service aspires to provide guidelines and information to every European student who wants to study psychology in a different European country to their own, and even every student in the whole world who wants to study psychology in Europe. Study Abroad is a comprehensive directory introducing easy steps for studies abroad either for an exchange programme or for postgraduate studies as far as psychology is concerned. Navigating through the site you will be able to familiarize with application procedures, the educational systems of the different countries or learn how to get financial support for your studies. Find, also, useful links regarding Universities and national organisations dealing with psychological studies, recognition centres, responsible authorities of exchange programmes, financial aid centres, ministries of education and embassies in more than 30 European countries.
Share the Experience…
For quite long now, we have begun collecting experience stories from those students who have been kind enough to share their experiences with us. These stories will help show a more personal view of what it is like to study in another country. Because nothing is the same as living the experience!
