EFPSA Day will take place all over Europe on the 15^th of November 2012!

The basic idea of the EFPSA Day is to spread the word about EFPSA and get as many Psychology students from all over Europe as possible familiar with EFPSA.

In addition, it is crucial that this event is organised on the same day by all participating countries.

EFPSA Messenger

Imagine a room full of inspired Psychology Students, gazing with their knowledge-thirsty eyes into the orange future that brings EFPSA about. Imagine happy faces, motivated to travel and learn, young students eager to get involved and getting thrilled by the EFPSA Spirit.

You can be generating all this? How? It’s simple, become an EFPSA Messenger!!

The idea of EFPSA Messengers rose during the 26th EFPSA Congress in Denmark, when many EFPSA members, united in an evening meeting, decided they should see each other more and spread the EFPSA Spirit as often as possible, and as far as they can.
They started looking for solutions. Asking themselves how else they can contribute to EFPSA Spirit, how can they make EFPSA more visible and reach more international Psychology Students? This position was on everybody’s mind…they had been talking about the EFPSA Spirit all week, the message was clear. It came naturally on their lips: EFPSA Messengers!
The simplicity of the concept makes it really easy to implement. A Messenger is an EFPSA member who travels from the country of origin to another country, and presents EFPSA from his/her perspective. It can be you!

Are you a Messenger?
If you are someone who has just had contact with EFPSA a few times, but feels the Spirit and want to share it with other Psychology students, if you are an active EFPSA member and you want to share your experience in the EFPSA family, if you’re an EFPSian studying abroad, if you miss your EFPSA friends and paying them a visit during EFPSA Day makes you also want to contribute to the event, if you’re an Alumni that still feels the EFPSA vibe then YOU are a Messenger!

What do you have to do?
Contact the LO you’re planning on visiting and let them know about your intentions, and drop an email to the EFPSA Day Coordinator ( Gizem the Angel – efpsaday (at) efpsa (dot) org). Plan your trip and off you go to spread the EFPSA Message!

Need accommodation?
Not to worry, Travel Network is on it!! Register on the website and join the Facebook group, and the job is half done. If you have any difficulties write to travelnetwork (at) efpsa (dot) org and we’ll figure it out together!

What else?
Prepare something cool. The aim of the messengers is to motivate and inspire more and more students to join the EFPSA Network, participate at events and even become active members. The Messenger is a trail blazer opening the path of knowledge through Cultural Diversity. Think about how you can have the highest impact when meeting new psychology students. It can be a fun presentation, a workshop, a speech, a poster, whatever you’re good at and relates to EFPSA.
