Better Together is the latest campaign which the Social Impact Initiative has been developing. In collaboration with EFPSA’s Training Office, this project was kindly supported and financed by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, which is oriented towards empowering youths for building more inclusive societies.
The campaign itself is envisioned to follow in the successful ‘Mind the Mind’ Campaign path with a cycle of 5 workshops focused on tackling common misconceptions which ultimately lead to discrimination. By educating secondary level students on the basic concepts behind prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination and addressing different types of discrimination we hope to raise empathy and consequently, create a more positive attitude towards building a more inclusive society. The workshops will be organised with the help of local volunteers.
EFPSA Social Impact Initiative (SII) is currently looking for Local Coordinators for our new campaign: “Better Together”
We are looking for psychology students or graduates who have:
- experience with event organising
- effective communication
- social awareness
- social responsibility
By gathering a group of volunteers and implementing a meaningful campaign, YOU can help decrease discrimination and increase social inclusion, by educating high-school students about discrimination and its prevention through a cycle of interactive workshops. Join the campaign and be one of the many psychology students around Europe who will make a change!
