Attention all! We have some exciting information!
The Internship Task Force* was extended for the mandate 2016-2017 in order to build a strategy, working towards the development of an internship platform for EFPSA.
The team, which consisted of eight individuals, set forth a number of goals for the Internship Task Force. These were to outline the internship possibilities students are looking for, set-up a database with contacts of possible partnerships that could provide internship opportunities, make initial contact with the collected contacts in order to establish these partnerships, and build a solid foundation for the following mandate.
To achieve the first goal the team designed and distributed a short questionnaire for psychology students, which was piloted within the Working Community 2016-2017. The following Statistical Report presents a detailed account of the questionnaire results which looked into various areas concerning internships such as the length of internships student prefer, the field of interest, as well as the conditions students are looking for.
We are proud to announce that the Task Force successfully achieved all the goals that were set forth and we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the team, Ioanna Florou, Nicola Falzon, Andrew Camilleri, Michaela Sklatinioti, Dajana Čopec, Marija Lugarić, Joana Velozo and Barbora Hubena, for their hard work, efforts and achievements.
The work has now been passed on to the Internship Responsible, within the Study & Travel Abroad Service, following approval of the position during the first General Assembly held at the 31st EFPSA Congress in Gakh, Azerbaijan on 24th April 2017. The position was taken on by Marija Davcheva, who can be contacted via the email address firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or for any questions, queries or suggestions.
We are looking forward for the further development of this platform and wish the best of luck to Study & Travel Abroad for the upcoming mandate in this regard.
